1990's, the Artists With Pride Tag Crew were a collection of artists from the DMV (DC, MD, VA) who came together to paint any way they could. After they went there different ways, Nyrl started using AWP to bring together various artists, musicians, poets, and performers to support each other, and the art they represent.

Currently AWP helps promote any art. From free air oil painting to nightclubs, anything that brings together like minded artists for free expression &/or community is supported. If you'd like to contribute, please email artists@awp.tc.
