Mandee Price
18 year old singer-songwriter Mandee Price has been in love with music for as long as she can remember. When she was 15, a family friend taught her to play while camping in Bumpass, Virginia, and Mandee has been glued to a guitar ever since. A lifetime of horses, traveling, and the dynamics of a compassionate and colourful extended family have given her an appreciation for the rustic quality of simple acoustics and a particular fondness for artists such as Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin, James Taylor, CSNY, and The Eagles.
With a background of barrel racing around the country and camping in the mountains, Mandee is most comfortable in more natural settings and draws inspiration from as many elements as possible. Her music serves as confidant, therapist, stress ball, and dear friend, and her goal is to provide these valuable tools to as many people as possible. Originally from small-town St. Mary's County, Maryland, Mandee moved to Fairfax, Virginia after graduating high school and aims to atain a BFA in Multidisciplinary Fine Art from the Univerisity of the Arts in Philadelphia.
